Dianabol (Methandrostenolone) is the original 17α-alkylated oral AAS — a C17α methyl group enables oral bioavailability by blocking hepatic first-pass metabolism. 210:60 anabolic:androgenic ratio. Aromatizes to methylestradiol. QSC Peptides offers 10mg, 20mg, 50mg tablets, 1000-count bulk, and injectable oil form — ≥99% purity, free USA shipping.
Dianabol (Methandrostenolone, 17α-methyl-Δ1-testosterone) is a testosterone derivative with two structural modifications: a C17α methyl group (oral bioavailability) and a Δ1 double bond (reduces 5α-reductase affinity). It was first synthesized in 1958 and remains the most-studied oral AAS in the research literature.
The C17α methylation is the critical pharmacological modification — it sterically blocks hepatic 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (17β-HSD) from oxidizing the 17-hydroxyl, preventing first-pass hepatic inactivation and enabling effective oral delivery. The tradeoff is hepatotoxicity due to altered hepatic metabolism.
Dianabol aromatizes to 17α-methylestradiol via CYP19A1. Methylestradiol has significantly higher ER binding affinity than estradiol and resists hepatic degradation, making Dianabol's estrogenic activity in research more potent per unit than testosterone's aromatization.
QSC Peptides offers Dianabol in oral tablet form (10mg, 20mg, 50mg, 1000-count bulk) and as an injectable oil formulation (50mg/mL) — enabling research into both oral pharmacokinetics and injectable Dianabol bioavailability comparisons.
